Care Requirements:

  • Lighting: Didiplis diandra requires medium to high lighting to develop its vibrant green to reddish hues. Intense lighting is key to achieving the best coloration and compact growth.
  • CO2: The addition of CO2 is highly recommended to maintain the plant’s vibrant colors and encourage healthy, fast growth.
  • Water Parameters: This plant prefers slightly acidic to neutral water conditions with a pH range of 5.5-7.5 and temperatures between 20-28°C. Clean, nutrient-rich water is ideal for optimal growth.
  • Trimming: Regular trimming is necessary to maintain the plant’s compact, bushy growth. Trimmings can be replanted to propagate new stems.

Planting Tips:

  • Rinse the plant thoroughly to remove the nutrient gel before planting.
