Microsorum pteropus ‘Trident’
Microsorum Pteropus AKA Java fern is a commonly used aquatic plant in the aquarium hobby due to its easy care. Java Fern Trident features long and thin fork-like foliage and is similar to other popular species of Java Fern such as Windelov and Needle Leaf. It can grow great in low light conditions and is forgiving in a wide range of aquarium water parameters.
This aquatic plant can be attached directly onto driftwood, rocks or any aquarium decoration using thread or glue. Make sure to keep the rhizomes above your substrate or the plant can begin to rot. Propagation is easy and straightforward; simply cut or pull apart rhizomes to be replanted/reattached.
