Non-livestock items are returnable within 7 days upon purchasing. If the item is found to be in working condition, the client will be liable to cover ALL shipping fees. If items is faulty, a full refund or replacement will take place and shipping will be covered by Aqua Atlantis.

Bacopa Monnieri

Bacopa monnieri, also known as water hyssop or Brahmi, is a popular and hardy aquatic plant. Known for its bright green, fleshy leaves, Bacopa monnieri is easy to grow and maintain, making it an ideal plant for beginners and experienced aquascapers alike. It has a slow to moderate growth rate and can adapt to a variety of water conditions, making it a versatile addition to any aquarium.

Under higher light, Bacopa monnieri will develop thicker foliage and grow upright, while under lower light, it may spread out and grow more horizontally. It is capable of growing both submerged and emersed, and is often used in terrariums and paludariums as well. In emersed form, Bacopa can produce small, delicate white or light blue flowers.

Care Tips:

Keep water temperature between 18-28°C with a pH range of 6.0-7.5 for optimal growth.
Provide low to medium lighting. Bacopa can tolerate low light but will grow more compact and robust under brighter conditions.
CO2 supplementation is not necessary, but it can improve growth speed and the overall health of the plant.
Trim regularly to maintain a compact form and prevent it from becoming too leggy.

Ideal Placement in Aquarium: Bacopa monnieri is typically used as a midground or background plant, depending on the size of the aquarium. Its vertical, column-like growth makes it an excellent plant for filling out spaces and creating a lush, green backdrop. RETURNS:
We don’t accept any returns on livestock. (PLANTS,AQUATIC, ANIMALS)

Non-livestock items are returnable within 7 days upon purchasing. If the item is found to be in working condition, the client will be liable to cover ALL shipping fees. If items is faulty, a full refund or replacement will take place and shipping will be covered by Aqua Atlantis .
Returns after 7 days will be subject to a handeling fee of 10% and the client will remain responsible for for shipping.
Waranty claims: Items will be collected from the client or brought back to Aqua Atlantis and sent directly to the suppliers. If the item is found to be in working condition, the client will be liable for ALL shipping fees. If the item/product is faulty, a replacement unit will be sent to the client.
We will not accept any returns on any products that are not to the buyers liking after 7 days of purchase.
We reserve the right to cancel any order and refund the customer for whatever reason we see necessary.

The Courier Guy (R120 – R500) – Depending on what you order. If there are additional shipping charges, this will be communicated to you after you have placed your order.

We can Ship dry goods such as: hardscape, soils, gravels, nano tanks, filtration etc, using the locker to locker pudo service for only R80.
Local Collections (cape town)- free.
If you select courier at checkout that is not overnight/priority shipping for plants Aqua Atlantis will not be held liable for any losses that may occur.
