Returns

Non-livestock items are returnable within 7 days upon purchasing. If the item is found to be in working condition, the client will be liable to cover ALL shipping fees. If items is faulty, a full refund or replacement will take place and shipping will be covered by Aqua Atlantis.

The Neon Tetra, scientifically known as Paracheirodon innesi, is a small, vibrant freshwater fish belonging to the Characidae family. Native to the clear water streams and tributaries of the Amazon basin in South America, particularly in Brazil, Colombia, and Peru, the Neon Tetra is one of the most popular fish in the aquarium hobby. Its striking appearance, characterized by a brilliant blue stripe that runs from the nose to the base of the tail and a bright red stripe extending from the middle of the body to the tail, makes it a favorite among aquarists. Neon Tetras typically grow to about 1.5 inches (4 cm) in length and have a lifespan of 5-8 years in captivity when provided with optimal care.

In their natural habitat, Neon Tetras are found in soft, acidic waters that are slow-moving and heavily shaded by overhanging vegetation. Behavior and Compatibility:

Neon Tetras are peaceful schooling fish that do best when kept in groups of at least 6-10 individuals. They are highly social and display their most natural behaviors when in a group, often swimming together in a coordinated manner. Neon Tetras are ideal for community tanks and coexist well with other small, non-aggressive species such as small rasboras, Corydoras catfish, and other tetras. However, they should not be housed with larger, predatory fish that might see them as prey. Due to their peaceful nature, they make excellent additions to planted aquariums, where their bright colors can create a stunning visual contrast against the greenery.

We don’t accept any returns on livestock. (PLANTS,AQUATIC, ANIMALS)

Non-livestock items are returnable within 7 days upon purchasing. If the item is found to be in working condition, the client will be liable to cover ALL shipping fees. If items is faulty, a full refund or replacement will take place and shipping will be covered by Aqua Atlantis .
Returns after 7 days will be subject to a handeling fee of 10% and the client will remain responsible for for shipping.
Waranty claims: Items will be collected from the client or brought back to Aqua Atlantis and sent directly to the suppliers. If the item is found to be in working condition, the client will be liable for ALL shipping fees. If the item/product is faulty, a replacement unit will be sent to the client.
We will not accept any returns on any products that are not to the buyers liking after 7 days of purchase.
We reserve the right to cancel any order and refund the customer for whatever reason we see necessary.

Shipping Charges:

The Courier Guy (R120 – R500) – Depending on what you order. If there are additional shipping charges, this will be communicated to you after you have placed your order.

We can Ship dry goods such as: hardscape, soils, gravels, nano tanks, filtration etc, using the locker to locker pudo service for only R80.
Local Collections (cape town)- free.
If you select courier at checkout that is not overnight/priority shipping for plants Aqua Atlantis will not be held liable for any losses that may occur.
We will ONLY Ship aquaticanimals using the express Shipping method.

If the courier takes longer than 24 hours to deliver, we unfortunately can’t take responsibility for any losses. DOA Guarantee: If any livestock arrives deceased, please send us proof (photos/videos) within 1 hours of receiving your package, with the animals still in their original packaging.
