Copperband butterfly

The Copperband Butterflyfish (Chelmon rostratus) is a striking and graceful saltwater fish known for its long snout and bold vertical orange bands. Peaceful and shy, it requires a mature, well-established tank with plenty of rockwork and hiding places. While it’s sometimes used to control Aiptasia (pest anemones), it can be a finicky eater and is best kept by experienced aquarists. Not always reef-safe, as it may nip at small invertebrates or coral polyps.
