For large, heavily planted aquaria
Ludwig Dennerle began cultivating aquatic plants more than 55 years ago. Many customers asked about the correct nutrient supply for plants in their home aquariums. That was the birth of the Dennerle fertilizer system. Since then, it has been continuously developed further. This fertilizer set was specially developed for heavily planted community aquariums. This type of aquarium is characterized by a planting of approx. 70 – 80 % of the bottom surface, of which approx. half are fast-growing species, and good growing conditions (good lighting, CO2 supply). The fertilizer system consists of 3 components, which guarantee an even and continuous supply of nutrients:
- Plant System S7 = vital substances
- Plant System E15 = iron fertilizer
- Plant System V30 = complete fertilizer
All fertilizer components are highly concentrated and very productive. The fertilizer system is therefore particularly suitable for large aquariums from 100 liters.
Dosage
Product | Dosage |
Plant System S7 | Weekly 3 ml per 100 L aquarium water |
Plant System E15 | Every 4 weeks (e.g. always on the 15th of the month) 1 tablet to 100 L aquarium water |
Plant System V30 | Every 4 weeks (e.g. always on the 30th of the month) 3 ml on 100 L aquarium water |
Plant System S7 adds vitality to the aquarium
Vitamins, plant enzymes and other organic active substances are constantly formed anew in nature with the help of natural sunlight. These vital substances not only promote the health and colorfulness of the fish, but also the growth of the aquarium plants. Natural sources of vitamins are lacking in the aquarium. In addition, most vitamins are not stable for long or are quickly depleted. It is therefore all the more important to regularly supplement these vital substances. The multivitamin concentrate Plant System S7 supplies the plants with all necessary vitamins, trace elements and other vital substances needed in the short term. Vital micronutrients aquarium plants as well as aquarium fish and the filter microorganisms need numerous minerals, trace elements and other vital substances. These micro-nutrients are usually insufficiently present in tap water and should therefore be regularly supplied to the aquarium.
Plant System E15 – nutrient iron (II) for rich green leaves
Plant System E15 iron fertilizer provides all aquarium plants with divalent nutrient iron II that they can use immediately, thereby ensuring a beautiful, fresh green color. Iron is of central importance for all aquarium plants. It is needed for the formation of the vital leaf green. Without leaf green, the plant cannot carry out photosynthesis. Iron deficiency shows up immediately: the young leaves appear pale and yellowish (iron chlorosis).
Important to know: Plants can only absorb so-called bivalent iron. Unfortunately, this is not stable in the aquarium, but is quickly oxidized and thus converted to ineffective trivalent, “brown” iron. Tap water contains practically no iron. Aquarium plants are therefore dependent on regular iron fertilization. Special protective shells – so-called chelates – provide the E15 iron with effective protection and ensure its long-term availability to plants in the aquarium (depot effect). E15 is phosphate- and nitrate-free and thus does not promote algae growth.
Plant System V30 the complete fertilizer for large, heavily planted aquaria
Plant System V30 combats nutrient deficiencies, strengthens plants from within and helps to counter stagnant growth. Highly-effective protective shells – so-called chelates – mean that the nutrients stay available to plants for a long time. Deficiency symptoms are eradicated on a lasting basis, new leaves display a rich green coloring again. Phosphate- and nitrate-free.
