Product details

Blyxa japonica

The Japanese thread wort is one of the most beautiful foreground plants in the aquarium. The impressive aquarium landscapes by Takashi Amano, have greatly influenced the desirability of this graceful plant. However, for a successful cultivation important parameters such as light, soft water, and high CO2 levels are required. Particularly impressive are larger groups, that even shimmer reddish under strong lighting. In combination with flat growing species like Hemianthus callitrichoides or Micranthemum tweediei, Blyxa japonica creates a special harmonious atmosphere.

Note:

We advise you to wash away the media around the root zone of the aquatic plant with chlorine free water so as the prevent mildew and algae in the aquarium. (The media contains abundant nutrients)
