The Desjardini Sailfin Tang, also known as the Indian Ocean Sailfin Tang, is a stunning and dynamic addition to any large saltwater aquarium. This majestic herbivore is easily recognized by its tall, flowing dorsal and anal fins—resembling a sail when fully extended—and its striking coloration. Adults showcase a dramatic pattern of bold vertical stripes and intricate dots, with hues ranging from silvery gray to golden brown, accented by white, yellow, and deep black markings.
Native to the Indian Ocean and Red Sea, this tang is both beautiful and beneficial—serving as a natural algae grazer to help keep your tank clean.
