Product details

Rotala rotundifolia ‘Blood Red’

Rotala rotundifolia ‘Blood Red’ is an eye-catching aquatic plant renowned for its intense red coloration. This variety of Rotala rotundifolia is a popular choice among aquarists and aquascapers due to its vibrant, narrow, needle-like leaves that turn a striking blood-red hue under optimal conditions.

To achieve its best coloration, Rotala rotundifolia ‘Blood Red’ requires high light intensity and a nutrient-rich environment with ample CO2 supplementation. It grows rapidly and can reach heights of 30-50 cm (12-20 inches), making it an excellent choice for background planting in an aquarium. Regular trimming encourages bushy growth and helps maintain its shape, allowing for creative and dense aquascaping designs.
