Clownfish (Amphiprioninae)

Clownfish are among the most iconic and beginner-friendly saltwater fish in the hobby. Instantly recognizable thanks to their bold orange, black, and white stripes, they are famous for their symbiotic relationship with anemones. Native to the warm reefs of the Indo-Pacific, clownfish are hardy, peaceful (with personality!), and reef-safe, making them an excellent choice for nearly any saltwater setup.
